London Museum of Water and Steam
UPDATE: This venue is closed until further notice owing to COVID-19. We will update you as this changes and you can find more information here.
If your kids are mad for machinery or wacky for water play – the Museum of Water and Steam is where you need to be!
Children will love turning giant wheels and twisting huge cogs to make water move through this lovely little museum, which makes the perfect pitstop on a day out in Kew. Embark on the ‘meet the monsters’ trail; get wet in the amazing Splash Zone; and meet the museum’s mascot Splash the cat.
Kidadler Laura highly recommends the London Museum of Water and Steam, saying: “We went with my boys (8 and 6) and baby in a pram. It's the second time we've been, and was lovely and quiet. It’s a really interactive museum with loads of wheels and things to turn and pump, lots of big engines to look at, and a great little splash area outside. It was really fun and if your kids are into machines it's brilliant.”
Kidadler Reena adds: "London Museum of Water and Steam is amazing for under 5s. On the weekend it has a minion steam train, water play area and indoor "waterworks" area with hidden hole. Really highly recommend!"
