Kidadler Gabby says: "Want to recommend Shakespeare’s Globe. We went there yesterday and my kids loved it! They had lots going on for half term (sword fighting performance, Shakespearean clothes demonstration, great tour and lovely exhibition)."
Kidadler Clare says: "Just had a great day out at Shakespeare’s Globe. Entry included a tour of the theatre and an exhibition. We took our 9 and 6 year olds who understood a huge amount and enjoyed the day. Best points were: being able to take the tour, leave the theatre for lunch and go back in to enjoy the exhibition later (re-entry valid for day of ticket purchase); an excellent children's audio guide of the exhibition as well as an adult version; half terms activites including costumes, printing press demonstrations and live sword fighting. Kids favourites were the sword fighting demonstrations and the tour of the theatre. We expected a couple of hours but ended up spending 4 hours there. Pizza express, Real Greek and Zizzis all next door with huge amount of tables available. Ended the day with a ride up to the tenth floor of the Tate Modern and a swing on their exhibition in the Turbine Hall. Easy travel to and from Blackfriars. One of our favourite days out, highly recommended."
