Attention animal lovers! Come and discover a whole host of natural and animal artefacts big and small, extinct and extant at the Tring National History Museum from taxidermied cuddly polar bears to snappy pirañas. 

 

Once the home of the eccentric Rothschild who rode a carriage of Zebras he’d trained himself, the original humongous collection of preserved animals can still be seen in the authentic victorian settings. Marvel at glittering minerals and multi coloured mandrills, spy a spider crab and see the saig on a historical journey that takes you across continents and eras.  There a regularly events for kids to relax and play and families to get an interactive understanding of nature. From the extinct and rare Quagga to preserved tigers, the bewildering wilderness here is sure to leave any curious mind inspired.
