Head over to the heart of East London and enjoy the great outdoors at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - the home to London’s 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Zigzag through the water fountains, climb the ArcelorMittal Orbit and soar down the world’s tallest tunnel slide.

With arts and nature trails, kids can explore the 560 acres of parkland. The long flat paths are perfect to scoot or bike along, so bring your wheels! Take a picture next to the Olympic rings and medal podium, enjoy a picnic overlooking the Olympic stadium and climb the Scots Pines Observatory.

Kidadler kids love the adventure playground and fountains. Anna and Deborah’s children loved the Tumbling Bay playground and even brought their mini trucks along to play with. This park hits the top spot and wins gold for family fun!

Haven't been very recently but there's loads to do, two great playgrounds, including sand and water play, boat trips, and sight seeing the Olympic venues. And if you get bored you can shop in Westfield! We normally get the high speed train from ST Pancras which is also fun as well as fast.
