A perfect place to get those little legs and minds working - one of London's most historic parks has everything from nature trails and tree walks to cricket nets, playgrounds, football pitches, tennis courts, boat and bike rentals.
On the west side of the park near Grove Road there is a playground designed for younger children. The play area is fenced off and boasts swings, climbing equipment, sand play and water pumps. On the east side by The Hub building is another play area with bigger slides, climbing equipment, sand play and splash pool which features water jets and fountains. Add to that a skate park where you can bring skateboards and scooters, sports pitches and two cafes and it's easy to spend the whole afternoon here.
Head out on an orienteering trail, use a map to find your way around the park, and make your way to different marked locations. Split into teams to make it a little more competitive! The trails can be downloaded via the website. Unleash your family's energy for the great outdoors!
