Take a trip to Kew Gardens, London's largest UNESCO World Heritage site. With its unique landscapes, trails, flora and fauna plus iconic architecture, incredible playgrounds, treetop walkways and events on site, kids will love exploring this leafy green haven.
Set over 300 acres, the renowned botanical gardens are a paradise for children, with everything from tropical rainforests to treetop adventures. Younger kids can slide down a giant plant or wiggle through tunnels in the Climbers and Creepers playground. They’ll love Treehouse Towers, with its giant swings, zip wires, scramble nets, slides and a mountaineering ramp; and make sure you don't miss the 18-metre high Treetop Walkway for breathtaking views of Kew Gardens that will thrill any little explorer!
Its most recent addition is The Hive - a multi-sensory experience which transforms the activity of bees into dazzling sound and light show. Green-fingered visitors will be buzzing!
Kidadler Maja says: "There is lots to do - there is a treetop walk, a pagoda, great flowers in bloom, an outdoor and indoor play area for kids, and they have various activities for kids at different places. Can spend the day there easily, recommend you bring a picnic if the weather is nice."

Great day at Kew gardens. Went with kids ages 11-10 months. All enjoyed it. 8 hours there and didn't hear the words I'm bored once.
