Set sail on a journey to discover London’s fascinating maritime history, where kids will love learning through play to uncover the fascinating history of London’s River Thames and the history of Docklands.

From the museum’s home at a 200-year old storage warehouse on the Isle of Dogs, follow the timeline of galleries and displays from the 1600's to present day. Meet fearsome pirates and 17th century merchants, and learn about the dedicated warriors for justice who fought to end slavery. Small sailors will be thrilled by the Mudlarks gallery which has a whole range of interactive games.

Explore the Victorian docks in Docklands Playtime, become a builder in the role-play area using giant bricks and wheelbarrows and try cargo loading in Tip the Clipper. After an action-packed day of maritime fun, the whole family will be singing sea shanties on the way home!

Kidadler Malenay says the Museum has the "best soft play ever!" and Moushumi adds it's "fab and super interactive..."
