Calling all coin collectors! See how money is made, how coins have changed and how to tell real bank notes from fake at this small and friendly museum. Budding bankers can even lift a gold bar worth nearly half a million pounds!
The museum has received rave reviews from Kidadlers who have taken 5 to 13 year olds here and found lots to do and say it's a great pit stop for around 1-2 hours. Kidadl mum Winnie adds: "There is lots to do/read/learn and you can get age appropriate activity sheets from the reception area."
Kidadler Sharon adds, "I took my 9 year old and he really enjoyed it. There are interactive things to do, and it's really easy to get to!"
On arrival, plug in your free family audio guide which has fascinating facts about the Bank’s 300-year history. With interactive displays and lots to learn, inquisitive minds can find out if money really does makes the world go round.

We went on Monday. My almost 8 year old really enjoyed it. I thought it was a great and free museum. We climbed the Monument afterwards which is a short walk away. Enjoy.
