Stories from Asia at The Cockpit Theatre this weekend
An engaging storyteller will bring tales from sacred Hindu texts to life with the use of drama activities and role play at The Cockpit Theatre. The kids will find themselves in the ancient world of gods and goddesses and gurus and won’t want to leave!
With so much fun to be had, you’ll make your way back home with some sleepy kids in tow, imaginations bursting at the seams, happy to tell you some bedtime stories of their own.
Children will love this fun immersive and interactive storytelling session, where they’ll see traditional stories from Asia come alive. Perfect for ages 4-11. Tickets start at only £7.
When to go
The show is on 26 January at 2pm.
The nearest stations are Edgware Road (Hammersmith & City, District, Circle, Bakerloo) and Marylebone. Both are about an 8-minute walk away.
Is there parking?
We recommend travelling to the theatre by public transport as on Saturdays as it is difficult to get to the venue by car due to the Church Street Market and there is very limited parking available and most streets nearby are Resident Permit Holders only.
Are there baby-changing facilities?
There are no baby-changing facilities at the Cockpit, but it is breastfeeding friendly and they are more than happy to look after buggies during shows.
Where to eat
Hungry? There are a host of family-friendly Middle Eastern restaurants on the Edgware Road. Or the Cali Café on Church Street serves wide selection of fresh and well balanced sandwiches and salads.
