While nothing will ever beat viewing animals up close, zoos are offering the next best thing: virtual wildlife tours. Have you ever wanted to have breakfast with a two-toed sloth? Now's your chance. Visit the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden Facebook page where the zookeepers will be live-streaming animal antics directly from the zoo to the comfort of your own living room each day at 3pm in these Z-learning sessions. Home to more than 2,000 magnificent and fascinating animals, Riverbanks is one of the USA's most beautiful and inspiring botanical gardens.
Hang out with the oldest residents at Riverbanks, the Galapagos tortoises, sssssssstretch out with the snakes, go under the sea in the aquarium, get a sneak peek at Frankie the new little squirrel monkey and see other exotic zoo animals in this lush 170-acre site, which feature natural habitat exhibits and scenic river views. You will get to explore the zoo from home and enjoy inside peeks, too-cute-to-handles, plus you will be given activities to do at home! Activities will be based on wild animals, native species, and much more. Z-learning sessions are a fun way to learn about wildlife and bring it into your living room - wherever you are in the world. And if you miss out on the live broadcast, you can catch up on the Facebook page too. If you love animals, check out these interactive online sessions.
