What to expect

If you are looking for something creative to do with your kids, this online workshop at the Barbican Centre is just what you've been looking for. Creative kids can make their very own animation with this workshop by animator and artist Shelly Wain, inspired by Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach. You can't go the the wonderful Barbican Centre events in person, but you can still take part from home!

If you and your children like Roald Dahl books, this is the perfect creative session for you. Join Shelly as she teaches you how to make some animation using five drawings only. Shelly will use the application, Stop Motion Studio, which helps you to create movies like Wallace and Gromit! You can download it to a mobile phone or iPad. She will give you step-by-step instructions on how to make the drawings and how to work the settings on the Stop Motion Studio app.

Adults and kids alike will love this extraordinary animation workshop. Whether you have experience in creating animation or not, this free workshop will inspire young minds. Your children can get as creative as they want to be and let their imagination run wild!
