What to expect

Are you looking for fun online ballet classes for kids? Want to be able to get involved too? Join the English National Ballet (ENB) for their brilliant family ballet workshops based on Tchaikovsky's masterpiece Swan Lake; a ballet that continues to thrill audiences with its drama, romance and unforgettable score. Professional dance artist Sarah Golightly leads this at-home workshop for young children and families. It's the ideal way to explore dance together!

Sarah will use pictures to tell the story of the world's best-loved ballet, and you'll learn more during the dance itself. These lessons take the format of typical dance school classes, with warmups to begin followed by a ballet class based on Swan Lake. At the end of the class, you will get the chance to get creative and create a little piece of the ballet for yourself. This is also a great way to introduce your child to Tchaikovsky's mesmerising score!

So, no need to wonder if there's a ballet class near you anymore! In fact, your children will be asking when they can officially join a dance school after this awesome session. Whether you're 4 or 85 years old, this is brilliant for getting the whole family involved in dance, and a great way to have fun and build your confidence.

If you're looking for additional dance classes or ballet lessons, the ENB is also offering a Youth Dance Course for older kids aged 14-19 and a Youth Ballet Class for kids aged 11-16.
