The best way to get to the Underbelly Festival at Southbank Centre is to head to Waterloo station. Cross the road under the bridge and follow the inevitable crowd that will be heading to the Underbelly Festival London.
Parking is very limited in the area, so we suggest going by public transport. There is free parking for Royal Festival Hall visitors in the nearby National Theatre for Blue Badge holders.
Yes. You can download a step-free access map for the Southbank Centre online. For access to Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer, where this event takes place, use Royal Festival Hall JCB glass lift to Level 2 and enter via Riverside Terrace.
Grab a bite to eat inside the Underbelly Festival area- there’s plenty of seating but it’s all outdoors. Alternatively head to award-winning family institution Caffe Vergnano 1882 at the Southbank Centre for excellent pizzas, pastas and other Italian dishes. Kidadler Tracy recommends Canteen. She says, "We headed to Canteen for lunch - one of our favourite grown up but super kid-friendly places to eat which is directly under the Southbank building."
Performance times are subject to change - please check the website before setting off. Please print out your Kidadl booking confirmation to show on arrival. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
