Open daily. Opening times vary throughout the year. Typically the attraction opens at 10:00am and closes between 6:00pm and 8:00pm. The ’flight’ lasts around 30 minutes.
The London Eye is situated on the South Bank of the River Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament. It is a 7-minute walk from both Westminster Tube station (Jubilee, District and Circle lines) and Waterloo station (Jubilee, Northern and Bakerloo lines and National Rail services).
There is no parking at the venue, however Waterloo Car Park at 39 York Road is a 5-minute walk away.
You may bring a compact buggy into the pods, but it must be folded up. If your buggy cannot be folded, there is a free storage area in the ticket office. There is ample seating in each pod for tired legs. The experience is fully wheelchair accessible.
There are lots of great restaurants to choose from on the Southbank, from Giraffe to Wagamama, Yo Sushi! and Wahaca. Walk along the river towards the London Eye and you'll see the bright pink Snog yogurt bus - head to the top deck to enjoy frozen yogurt with a view!
Don’t forget to visit the 4D Cinema Experience inside the London eye ticket office - your ticket automatically includes entry.
Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Please print out your Kidadl booking confirmation to show on the day. Buggies and heavy luggage are not allowed on The London Eye. A limited "left luggage" facility is available. All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point. Please note: once the lead passenger name has been added this cannot be changed. Please bring a form of identification that matches the Lead Traveller name on your ticket, with you on the day of your visit, as this may be checked before entry is allowed. Bottled water is permitted onto the Coca-Cola London Eye but no other food and drink will be permitted.
