About the event

Built in the 11th century during William the Conqueror's reign, Windsor Castle has been home to over 30 monarchs, each of them leaving their own mark behind. On your trip to Windsor, visit the impressive State Apartments, which are furnished with some incredible pieces from the Royal Collection, including artwork from Rembrandt and Rubens, Henry VIII's armour and the bullet that killed Lord Nelson in the Battle of Trafalgar.

If your mini humans love mini versions of things, why not check out Queen Mary's Dolls' House? It's the most intricate in the world - you could easily spend an hour just looking at every tiny detail, from its fullly functioning plumbing system (complete with miniature toilet roll!), to the fully stocked library filled with original short stories by famous authors.

You'll also be able to walk in Prince Harry and Megan Markle's footsteps and explore the stunning St George's Chapel in all its Gothic glory, known to be one of the most beautiful religious buildings in the country.

Whether you're a family of history buffs, architecture afficionados or fine art fans, Windsor Castle is a great day out for everyone.
