The best way to get there is by public transport. The nearest Tube stations are Charing Cross (Bakerloo and Northern Line) and Covent Garden (Piccadilly line). The nearest rail station to the Lyceum is Charing Cross. For buses to Aldwych, you can use RV1, X68, 1, 6, 11, 13, 23, 59, 68, 87, 168, 171, 172, 188, 243. For buses to the Strand, you can use 4, 9, 15, 26, 76, 91, 139, 176, 34.
If you are driving the theatre is located within the London Congestion Charge Zone which applies from 7am until 6pm and costs £10 per day. Driving after 6pm, you will not be charged. The nearest car park is the Covent Garden Parker Street car park. Parking costs £24 for 2-4 hours and the car park is open 24hrs a day.
Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted into the theatre and booster seats are not available. Stall and aisle seats are recommended if your child would like to be near the animals scurrying along the aisles. This production includes strobe lighting, theatrical smoke and fog effects. Look out for the film’s famous wildebeest stampede. The death scene may be distressing for young children.
