About the event

It's 1838 in London and Ebenezer Scrooge is no more. As Marley's widow, his sister Fan has inherited the family moneylending business and is now famous for being the most monstrous miser in all of the city, legendarily lonely and loathed by everyone she meets. One Christmas Eve, many years later, she is met by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, who try to convince her to change her miserable ways. Will this be the year she changes for the better?

Written exclusively for Wilton's Music Hall by Piers Torday, new life is breathed into this classic seasonal staple. Inspired by the politics of Victorian-era London and refreshed for today's audiences, this festive fairy tale is brought to life in the world's oldest surviving music hall.

Expect a sensationally spectral score, petrifying puppets and magic galore in this new take on Britain's favourite Christmas story.
