By Tube, the nearest stations are Waterloo (on the Northern, Bakerloo and Jubilee lines), Southwark (on the Jubilee line) or walk over the Hungerford Bridge from Embankment (on the Northern, Bakerloo, District and Circle lines). Buses heading there are: 4, 26, 59, 68, 139, 168, 171, 172, 176, 188, 243, 521, N1, N68, N171 and N343 stop on Waterloo Bridge (a two-minute walk away)
We encourage travel by public transport as parking in the local area is very restricted. There are four Blue Badge parking spaces available for visitors located on the Queen Elizabeth Hall slip road off Belvedere Road. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and use of them is free.
Yes the venue has step-free access to Level 2 where the Ticket Office, Festival Terrace, Riverside Terrace, Welcome Desk are. Otherwise use the main entrance by Queen Elizabeth Hall Slip Road and use the JCB Glass Lift inside Royal Festival Hall, or the external lift next to the Artists' Entrance.
There are lots of great restaurants to choose from on the Southbank, from Giraffe to Wagamama, Yo Sushi! and Wahaca. Walk along the river towards the London Eye and you'll see the bright pink Snog yogurt bus - head to the top deck to enjoy frozen yogurt with a view!
