1 and 2 February. There are different time slots for different ages. On Saturday the timings are 10.45-11.15am (under 1s), 11.45am-12.30pm (1-2 years), 1-1.45pm (3-5 years) and on Sunday the slots are 11.30am-12pm (under 1s), 12.30-1.15pm (1-2 years) and 2-2.45pm (3-5 years).
The Barbican Centre is a 7-minute walk from Barbican, St Paul’s and Moorgate Tube stations. The venue is also served by the 153 bus route. If driving, put EC2Y 8DS into your SatNav. The event takes place in the Art Gallery on Level 3, which you can access from Level G (stairs and lifts) or from the Sculpture Court if you're coming via the outdoor walkways.
There is pay and display parking in the Barbican car parks - these are also accessible via a ramp on Level G. The car parks are accessed via Silk Street or via the Beech Street tunnel. To park on Level G, enter the car park via Beech Street (car park 5 and 4). Parking can also be booked online in advance, and costs £5 for up to 1 hour, then an additional £2.50 for every hour after that.
There is lift access throughout the Barbican Centre - the only area that is not accessible by buggy is Level M, a small mezzanine level where the Information Desk is. You can leave your buggy at the top of the short staircase right next to it.
There are baby-changing facilities on every floor. On Level G they can be found by the Curve Gallery.
If you’re meeting other families with buggies, a good meeting point would be Benugo on Level G. There are lots of seating areas around it where you can sit and eat your own food and it’s near the Squish Space room and the Curve Gallery. There is a free cloakroom outside the Art Gallery on Level 3 during exhibition hours (a voluntary £2 contribution is suggested to support the Barbican’s charitable activities). There is a cash point on Level 2, by the Library. Scooters are allowed on the walkways but are not recommended inside.
