Russell Square and Chancery Lane Tube stations are both around an 8-minute walk away. Kings Cross station is a 10-minute walk away and has a lift between the street and the platform.
Yes. There is very limited pay-and-display parking outside the museum.
No, but the British Museum and London Transport Museum are both a short walk away and have facilities that you could use.
Yes, but accessibility is limited, due to the museum being housed in a Grade I listed building. There’s an area where buggies can be stored while you explore. The entrance is step-free and there’s one step up to the cafe, but a ramp is available. The museum covers five floors, four of which can be accessed by our lift. There’s no lift access to the attic rooms; but a touch screen interactive facility is on the second floor which gives you a chance to see the fifth floor if you’re unable to use the stairs.
The Garden Cafe inside the museum has a great menu including lots of child-friendly options.
