There's loads going on at the London Museum of Water & Steam this Halloween, and with 24% off admission tickets, you'll have the most spooktacular time. Join the Splash Cat trail and find all the museum's hidden cats, listen to a cat story every weekday morning, enjoy cat-themed arts and crafts and loads more.
On top of the Halloween events and activities, there's even more to do while you're there - if your kids are mad for cool machines, they’ll love turning giant wheels and twisting huge cogs to make water move through the museum, which makes the perfect pitstop on a day out in Kew. It also houses the world’s largest collection of stationary steam pumping engines, a huge steam locomotive and a gallery that traces the history of water in London. Loco for locomotives? On specific days you can ride an old steam train around the museum and get access to usually secret hidden areas.
Kidadler Laura highly recommends the London Museum of Water and Steam, saying: “We went with my boys (8 and 6) and baby in a pram. It's the second time we've been, and it was lovely and quiet. It’s a really interactive museum with loads of wheels and things to turn and pump, lots of big engines to look at, and a great little splash area outside. It was really fun and if your kids are into machines it's brilliant.”
You'll have a totally fang-tastic time in Kew - all aboard the ghost train!
